Using Belicit

• You must be at least 13 years old and give accurate information when you sign up.
• You are responsible for your account and your password. Tell us if you think someone else has access.
• Usernames are unique and can use letters, numbers and dots only.

Be Licit

Keep everything you post lawful. Do not post illegal content, threats, harassment, hate, sexual content involving minors, scams or spam. Do not impersonate other people or organisations, and do not share false information presented as an official announcement.

Location and areas

Area features depend on your device location. Do not fake or manipulate your location to see content meant for another area or to reply where you are not allowed.

Badges and authorities

• Badges are given after an admin reviews your request. Green is for district authorities, purple for state, grey for country, yellow for global and blue for verified people.
• Authority posts are announcements for the area you were approved for, and only people in or near that area can see them.
• We can remove a badge at any time, especially if the details you gave were false or the badge is misused.

Replies and reach

Verified people can reply to any post. Other people can reply to posts near them unless the author allows everyone or turns replies off. Likes and reposts are open to everyone.

Your content

You own what you post. By posting you give Belicit permission to store, display and distribute it within the service so it can work as described. You can delete your posts at any time.

Moderation

We may remove content, limit reach, suspend or close accounts that break these terms or harm others. Suspended accounts cannot post, reply, like, repost or follow until the suspension ends.

The service

Belicit is provided as it is. We work to keep it available and accurate, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error free, and announcements on Belicit are not a replacement for emergency services. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that come from using the service.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we do, we will change the date above. Continued use of Belicit means you accept the updated terms.
